Jessica Oldfather

The past few months have been filled with activity for Jessica Oldfather. She ran the Chicago Marathon in October and then turned around and completed the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon a few weeks later. As if this wasn’t enough she then recently completed the Goofy Challenge at Disney World in Orlando, Florida (a half-marathon followed by a full marathon the next day). Jessica recently also accepted the important role of GER Treasurer. We cannot thank Jessica enough for stepping up to fulfill this critical role for our club. Jessica, we wish you best of luck with your future running goals.

What does your typical training schedule like? ? Run 5-6 days a week and try to mix in some Pilates and spin/bike. And, if it is getting closer to summer, swimming.

How did you become involved with the club? While training alone for my first half marathon I kept seeing the GERs on the path on Sunday mornings. They were always so nice! Then when I decided to train for the full I knew I couldn’t do it alone and signed up right away.

Any upcoming running goals you would care to share: I am really shooting to break 4 hours in the marathon and bring down all of my times this year.
